That Mighty's son inherited his powers from his father indicaes that Mighty is a mutant. I had a 45rp 7" phonograph record that related his origin. A mysterious stranger left him as a baby on a childless couple's doorstep. Their care inbued in him, a strong moral sense of responsibility.His first major mission was to vanquish a superstrong cat brought in as a contract killer by cats that Mighty had been defeating.
Well,they fought all day and they fought all night,
it really was the most alarming sight.
The cat was 6 feet long.
Mighty mouse was small,but awfully strong.
Neither could make the other give in,
and the whole world wondered who would win !
Who the stranger was that put him on that doorstep... possibly Mighty was bio-engineered !
